The mission of the First Baptist Music Ministry is to give followers of Christ the opportunity to use their God-given creative gifts to honor and praise our Creator.
Here are a few of the many opportunities found within our music ministry:
Celebration Choir
Our Celebration Choir leads in worship during many Sunday morning services. We also present a number of special seasonal presentations throughout the year. We invite you to come worship with us during rehearsal at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. It is our prayer that our worship overflows from Wednesday night into our Sunday morning services each week.
Praise Team/Praise Band
Our services are led by a praise team, praise band, and choir. A placement meeting and audition are required for anyone interested in being a part of the praise team or praise band.
Preschool & Children's Choirs
Worship opportunities for preschoolers and children through 6th Grade are offered periodically. God's gift of music is an awesome way to praise our Heavenly Father and to teach children God's Word. Additionally, we strive to share the joy of making music and train children musically and spiritually to be future youth and adult leaders in the church and community.
